The Lightning Resume Blog

Learn how to build that perfect resume, blow away your competition, and land that job!

Hi there! My name is Charles Sabeer and I am a software engineer. Over the years, one of the problems that held me back in my career was the boring hassle of writing a resume.

Now don't get me wrong - I'm not saying I wanted to change jobs every year! But I can't deny that, when I did think of finding another job, the idea of searching websites and writing and posting an updated resume was one of the reasons I would put it off.

The reason for this, I've found, is that I didn't really understand what made a good resume. So I studied the subject and wrote a book on what makes a good resume - for software engineers at least.

In this blog, I will write out my findings so you can use it to create great resume's of your own. I will share all that I've learnt and the key findings that will transform your resume and make it much better than most other software engineers who focus on the format and look-and-feel of their resumes. If you like the blog and want to support me - you can buy my book.

I would also love to hear from you. If you have any comments or suggestions or would just like some help with your job hunt, drop me a line. In the meantime, read the following posts and create that perfect resume that stands head and shoulders above the crowd!
